How the Creator allowance works

AI Clips starts on Creator at $60/mo. Creator includes three AI Clips per stream. Scale and Enterprise include the feature without that three-clip limit. The allowance is a prompt to choose a focused set of highlights rather than export every energetic sentence.

The system analyzes the recording and presents selected moments. You can then review the context, choose the clips worth keeping, and export the assets that fit your social plan.

What the virality score is for

Each suggested clip can include a virality score. The score reflects signals in the recording, including changes in audio energy and engagement peaks in the transcript. Laughter, raised voices, changes in pace, concise explanations, or notable statements can affect which moments rise in the list.

That is a ranking aid, not a forecast. A high score can identify an exciting exchange that makes no sense without the previous two minutes. A lower score can contain the clearest explanation of the episode. Watch the entire selected section and judge whether the clip works on its own.

Review the cut before exporting

Check four things before you download:

• Does the clip begin with enough context for someone who missed the live show?
• Does it end on a complete thought instead of a sentence that continues in the full VOD?
• Are the speaker, caption, and crop readable?
• Would you still share it if the score were hidden?

The score is useful for sorting. Editorial judgment decides whether the moment represents the show.

Make the allowance work harder

For a recurring show, decide what a useful clip means before you open the suggestions. You might want one answer that teaches something, one exchange that shows the guest’s personality, and one moment that gives a new viewer a reason to watch the full recording. That mix is often more useful than choosing three clips that all have the same loudness or pacing.

Give each candidate a quick context check. Listen a little before the proposed start and after the proposed end. If the clip depends on a visual that is not legible in the vertical crop, either adjust the layout or choose another moment. A highlight is not finished because the AI found it; it is finished when a person who missed the stream can understand why it matters.

Format and export

AI Clips creates vertical 9:16 outputs and offers caption styles and layout options. The crop and text tracking are handled in the clip workflow. The export is an MP4 download. ApexStream does not publish the clip directly to social platforms from the AI Clips interface.

That last step stays with you because TikTok, Reels, and Shorts each reward different captions, timing, and surrounding context. Add the native copy, audio, or publishing choices that make sense for the destination after you have reviewed the exported clip.
