Destination compatibility
Know the connection method before show day.
Direct connections let ApexStream work with the platform account. Manual destinations use a server URL and stream key supplied by the platform. Every active destination counts toward the plan's simultaneous destination limit.

Incoming video
Input is different from a destination.
An input carries video into ApexStream. A destination receives the outgoing show. This distinction matters most for SRT: SRT input works from Creator upward, while outgoing SRT is planned.

Send video from an encoder such as OBS into ApexStream.
SRT
Creator, Scale, Enterprise
Send an SRT contribution feed into ApexStream. This is input, not an outgoing destination.
WHIP
Creator, Scale, Enterprise
Send a WebRTC-based contribution feed into ApexStream where the product workflow exposes it.
