Scale and Enterprise teams often record more participants, keep more source material, and involve a separate post-production team. For those accounts, Pro Audio is included automatically. There is no separate Pro Audio checkout on either plan.
The practical change is simple: the account’s plan already grants the Pro Audio features, so the team can use the export and master-replacement workflow when the production calls for it.
No separate add-on to activate
When an account is upgraded to Scale or provisioned for Enterprise, the Pro Audio entitlements follow the plan. The Podcast Studio interface can expose the advanced audio export options without another purchase. Scale provides 500GB of storage; Enterprise provides up to 10TB.
This also means the plan gates should be read together. Storage, recording, export, and publishing access are part of the same account setup. If the controls do not appear after a plan change, check the account state before trying to buy an add-on that the plan already includes.
For a team, the billing change is small but the handoff is practical. The producer can prepare the recording, the engineer can export and mix the source, and the publishing owner can return to the same episode for the final metadata and feed release. No one needs to pause the workflow to decide whether a separate user should purchase an audio entitlement.
Why it matters for ISO workflows
Scale and Enterprise are the tiers that provide ISO guest track recording. Those isolated participant tracks can be exported as lossless WAV stems for a post-production team working in a DAW. Package export keeps the source files organized for that handoff.
After the mix is complete, Upload Final Master brings the finished audio back into the episode. The team can then continue with Podcast Studio’s transcript and publishing workflow, including chapters and RSS distribution where the plan and episode support them.
What Scale and Enterprise add around the audio
Scale supports up to eight simultaneous destinations, a 10-hour stream limit, and custom SRT/WHIP ingest paths. Enterprise supports up to 50 destinations and is custom and sales-provisioned. The audio inclusion is one part of a larger operating shape: more places to send a show, longer events, and more room to retain the source.
Do not interpret the included feature as a requirement to mix every episode in a DAW. If the show is a straightforward interview, the browser editor may still be the fastest path. The point is that an engineer should not be blocked when lossless stems or a final master are required.
Before a large event, agree on the capture plan. Decide whether ISO tracks are needed, who will download the package, who owns the final-master upload, and who checks the published episode. The included feature removes one gate; it does not define those responsibilities for the team.
A handoff for production teams
- Record the tracks the production actually needs, including ISO tracks when the format calls for them.
- Export the lossless package for the DAW team.
- Mix and review the final master outside the browser.
- Upload the master back to the episode.
- Finish chapters, metadata, and RSS publishing in Podcast Studio.
The plan removes the billing decision. The team still needs to make the editorial and engineering decisions.
When Pro Audio is included, the question is no longer whether to unlock it. It is whether this episode needs the extra control.
Scale and Enterprise customers can use the DAW path when the show requires it and stay in the browser when it does not. That flexibility is the useful part of including the feature by default.
